DAY -1 : ARRIVAL AND TRANSFER TO PHUENTSHOLING
Arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / transfer to Phuentsholling/Jaigaon is 170 kilometres and 6 hours drive from Siliguri. On arrival check into the hotel. Evening free at leisure. Night stay at Phuentsholling.
DAY -2 : PHUENTSHOLLING – THIMPHU
Pick-up form hotel & proceed to Thimphu after proceeding permit & other formalities. On arrival check-in into hotel for night stay. Night stay at Thimphu.
DAY -3 : THIMPHU SIGHT SEEING – PUNAKHA
Morning visit to Tashichhodzong, The national Library, & Institute for ZorigChusum (commonly known as painting school). After lunch proceed to Punakha. Check in at hotel and take an evening stroll along the main street, and perhaps visit a few handicrafts shops, or take refreshments at a local café or bar. Night stay at Punakha.
DAY -4 : PUNAKHA – WANGDIPHODRANG – TRONGSA/BUMTHANG
In the morning you will drive to Wangdiphodrang. WangdiphodrangDzong is the town’s most visible feature built during the 17th century. After visiting the WangdiphodrangDzong and having lunch there you will drive to Trongsa. Trongsa is situated at an altitude of 2200 m. and forms the central hub of the nation. On arrival visit the Trongsa Dzong. Above the Trongsa Dzong is the Ta Dzong (Watch Tower). In The evening leisure time to go around the Trongsa.
Night stay at Bumthang.
DAY -5 : BUMTHANG SIGHT SEEING
Full day BumthangSight seeing. Places of attraction include JakarDzong, WangdueCholing Palace, Jambay Lhakhang, Kurjey Lhakhang &KunchusumLhkhang. Night stay at Bumthang.
DAY -6 : BUMTHANG – WANGDIPHODRANG/PUNAKHA
Check-out from hotel & proceed to Punakha. On arrival check-in into hotel & evening free for leisure. Night Stay at Punakha.
DAY -7 : WANGDIPHODRANG/PUNAKHA- PARO
After breakfast visit ChimiLakhang Temple (also known as temple of fertility) & later proceed to Paro. On arival check-in into hotel evening free for leisure. Night Stay at Paro.
DAY -8 : PARO SIGHT SEEING OR PARO EXCURSION – TIGER’S NEST
After Breakfast, visit to Taktsang Monastery (Also called the Tiger’s Nest). A walk of 4 hours will take you to monastery. OR visit to Kyichu Lhakhang (One of the oldest and most sacred shrines of the country, built in the 7th century by the Tibetan king, SongtsenGampo) RinpungDzong (It is an architectural wonder-It houses collection of masks and costumes), Ta dzong (National Museum of Bhutan). Please note it is not possible to cover all the places mentioned in a single day. Night stay at Paro.
DAY -9 : PARO- PHUENTSHOLLING
Post Breakfast, drive ups the valley (around 18 Kms) to view the ruins of DrukgyelDzong, Ta Dzong (Inaugurated as Bhutans’ National Museum in 1968.), &Kyichu Lhakhang. After early lunch to drive to Phuentsholling (190kms / 06 – 07 hrs). Night Stay at Phuentsholing.
DAY -10 : PHUENTSHOLLING – NJP/BAGDOGRA DROP
Early morning breakfast – Drive to Siliguri – New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) – Nearly 170 kilometers 6 hours drive.TOUR ENDS with sweet memories.
